Anyone used leather magic?

So I found this company online:

http://www.leathermagic.com/index.html

They sell leather recoloring kits for about $50. Both my front seats are worn but have no splits or tears in them. I want to replce the leather because, well, it looks like 19 year old leather. I was just wondering if anybody here has used this stuff or seen the end result of someone using this on their seats. If it would make my seats look good for a couple of more years cool but if it will make them look worse than screw it. I'm having a hell of a time finding the leather for this car in the factory color and I really don't want to have to use "pleather" in the car if I can help it. If I can restore the leather that would be nice but if this stuff is  than to hell with it I'm going to the upholstery shop in the spring.

Never used this brand but can tell you what I know from past experience. I worked for Mercedes Benz for about 18 years and on occassion would get complaints about leather fading. We would call a guy who came thru and re-dyed it right there but what he told me always held true. It is only temporary at best, you are only adding color to the top surface, and never wear anything light colored. I have met many angry people who have been able to transfer seat dye right onto their clothing due to their fat asses sweating. I would opt for the upholstrey shop and not thinking about it for another  19 years.

I figured it was just a half ass solution. I'm going to wait till the spring and just get all the seats redone. At least then I'll know that it won't change the color of my pants (even though I don't have a fat ass:grinno: )
