You can have our snow. I just got done clearing almost 10" off my driveway and it's 19 degrees right now. I think the good cars are in hibernation now until spring....

I hate snow/ice/etc.  Here in NC, we normally get it within a 1-2 month period and thats it.  Just some scattered stuff the rest of the time.

It was nice yesterday, friggin cold today. After liviing in Oklahoma all my life,I'm used to it.At least we don't get enough snow or ice to amount to anything.....usually.For the last two winters, there wasn't even a need to get my coat out of the closet, just a light jacket.

It's all caused by that nuke test in North Korea. The heat leaked out, and as it rose it messed with the jet stream, pushing the fronts where they're not supposed to be yet.

We only had one really big snow storm last year. It was in early December and I had to work that night. We got about 10" of snow over a 5 hour period. That was the night when the Southwest Airlines 737 slid of the runway at Midway airport and killed that 8 year old kid. I don't work too far/live too far from Midway and I was wondering why I saw all those fire trucks that night (we didn't turn on the TV at work:dunce: ). It was weird to see a 737 on a street I drive on at least twice a week. Makes me think when I'm sitting at an intersection near Midway and a jet lands or takes off right over my head.

Mother effing' tell me about it! :beatyoass:

I had a flight from NC back up to Boston cancelled because the ed plane was coming from Chicago! :nkhk: They said it was snowing - I was like "in November?"

I had to stay overnight in NC with no extra clothes & the effing airline wouldn't pay for it even though the flight eventually showed up from Chicago - "oh, the crew timed out and we were not aware of this until now." WHAT!! After waiting 7 effing hours in the airport these morons were not aware that the crew would be timing out until the plane actually showed up? And I have to pay for a hotel room because it's "weather" related? :beatyoass:

I'm with every other passenger held hostage last Friday - I'll never fly on United Airlines again. They treated us like farm animals.

Yeah, all this talk about cold makes me thankful that I was wearing shorts yesterday and sweating my balls off.
