New addition to the Mustang

Installed my Hurst Competition Plus shifter today.  My wife bought it for me for Christmas so I braved the cold (6 degrees here this am), fired up the space heater and put her in.  It took me about an hour and I gotta say I'm lovin' the results.  The throw is sooo much shorter and it looks great too.  Its almost "gun-like" the way it clicks into gear. :burnout:

Nice! I always like classic ball shifters on the new Mustangs with manual transmissions!

Thanks.  Maybe someday I can swap a T-5 into the T-bird and get a Hurst for it too.

Cool!! The classic Hurst ball is one of the few accessories that looks great on both vintage and modern Stangs. Nice job!!

those short throws for the new mustangs are almost too tight. my buddies dad has one and the shifter moves maybe 1/2" full throw from neutral to 1st its weird.

looks good though.
