idea for user location tool

I was thinkin, maybe other folks would like this too. is to have a link where there is a map of the united states with lil pins to show where each of our members is located (with permission from each member)
the members can put the pin where they want in their location for instance. if u have any questions let me know and i can try n clear it up. but i think it would be nice to be able to see where alot of our members are located.  i do know we have some members in other countries but most are within the lower 48 id have to say.

There already is one, it's stickied in the lounge. It's a bit out of date, though - I must try to get it updated soon

Looking at that map, I realize how many users arent actually on there. The old map seems to have alot of people, I cant wait to see an updated version.

there should be a limit on how long u have to be on here before u can post your pin in the map, cus then every single person with one question (or spam thread) will join, post thier pin in the map, post a thread, and then u never hear from them again...then your stuck with 20 pins in a map of people u never heard from since.
