New seat wiring question....

I installed my Turbo Coupe seats and they are awesome. The problem, how do you wire the seats for the lumbar support when the car didn't come with that?Is it a simple "hot and ground" system?

Yes. IIRC, the black wire with white stripe is hot

I'll make a harness for them.Since i don't have the plugs that go from the flootr to the seat,I may just buy a coule of plugs and start from scratch, splicing in  new plugs to the seat's wiring.I probably won't ever use the supports, but,if the car has them now,I'd like them to work.I like function.

What I've done in the past is to piggyback the wires for the power seat. They're on a circuit breaker, plus you really can't move the seat and use the lumbar switch at the same time, so the power distribution is safe. The connector is on the driver's side under the carpet, almost at the rocker panel.

Thanks a lot.I'll splice into tha later today.First,I just installed a Locker rear, and I have to bleed the brakes. The old girl is really coming along. All I need now is to pick up that '88 Sport for a few litle odds and ends  and then off to paint.
