no heat

morning guys, got yet another question, well i had to the DREDDED heater core change yesterday(before winter). everything went fine, new core, hoses, antifreeze, no leaks, problem is,,,,,,,NO heat!! let the car get up to temp. and had the heat up full blast, ran for 20-30 min. both by pass hoses(in-out) are HOT so i know that coolant is going through. anyone have any suggestions?? thermostat maybe??    Thanks for any replys, Joe

Maybe the little vac motor thing that moves the door from, vent ,heat a/c, didn't get hooked back up. You could have missed the vac line or maybe the other end didn't get hooked up to the door part.If it was the Stat it was stuck open you would have heat sitting still but not at highway speeds. If you hoses are hot you should have heat.

thanks ipsd,  this morning it was a little chili out so i tried the heat and it seems to have worked, felt warm, coarse it only takes me 10 min to get to work(car didn't hardly get up to temp) it was in the mid 80's this weekend when i put it in, which might be why the heat didn't feel warm??  maybe?? just a thought
  Thanks again

Look under the dash and check everything anyway.Better safe than sorry and finding out there's a problem when it's 20 degrees all weekend.
