You mean the cougar emblem?  Nothing special.  They all came with the cougar emblems, plus the ones with the pinstripe, had a cougar head up by the headlights on each side.  I believe some even had them on the centercaps, and side panels of the doors.

well sorrry I had no clue all mercury cars had the cougar logo on the steering wheel. -__-

I have never seen a non-cougar car with cougar logos. that is like putting mustang emblems on an escort!

There was a "Black Magic" Capri which had Cougar logos all over it. It even had gold trim (over black) with color-matched gold TRX wheels. I've always wanted one.

IIRC the Black Magic and other cars with the cat's head had a slightly different head design than the Cougar design.
