Upper HO/TB Swap Questions August 20, 2006, 03:06:43 PM I made the 5.0 HO upper intake/TB swap this weekend and everything went great but I have a question.What is the purpose of the "C" shaped rod that sits on the back of the intake? I couldn't see any purpose that it served and couldn't replace it because the longer bolts to accommodate the intake spacer aren't threaded at the top to accept it.Immediate change in performance and a real noticable difference in the power!
