Starting?

I was also wondering if its normal on a CFI engine to have to give the car a little gas in order to start.
I've had this car for almost 4 years and its always been like that.
I figured since its partially fuel injected, that this was a little abnormal.
Does anybody know?
A mechanic once told me it might be a vaspoogee problem, but I left it alone because it never had a problem starting.

You may be just pulling the slack out of the throttle wire.
I adjusted the mechanical idle stop screw up 1/4 turn and fixed mine.
My air valve was sticking a bit when cold.
Take off the air duct and push the valve with your finger.
If its hard the first time and then free's up thats it.
BobNorway;)
There are only two tools you will ever need:
1) WD40
2) Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

I never had to do it on the CFI motor I used to have.  Take BobNorways advice.
