Help!

One of my power steering hoses just blew. i have the 5.0  and it's the one that curves highest as you are looking at the engine from the top. how do you change it? i looked at it, but i can't seem to get to the bottom fitting to loosen it.:shoothead

Well you could soak it in some PB blaster. Also if you cleaned up that area really good you could add some heat in there with a propane torch. Not the best but hey it works just be careful not to start a fire.

He said that he couldn't get to it, not that it was rusted on.  DUH!

Night cat-the lower fitting is a real bear to get to...takes a whole lot of patience and you can only really get 1/16th of a turn on it each time with an open end wrench...getting the fitting on the new hose started is where the real fun comes in...just be patient and try different approaches to the situation.
