Yes...I think you can indeed wire that into your car. You'd need to feed the power seat harness under the console/consolette and through to underneath the seat, then clip the switch in. The SN95 power seat switch will be located on the front of the seat, down by your calf. IIRC the connector is even the same and has a fairly long pigtail. Let me dig out the SN95 switch that came with my seats and I'll post pix later tonight. However...it might be easier to just find a new T-Bird/Cougar switch and replace that.

BTW, I just had to do some surgery on a power seat switch for Alex's convertible top. Long story but to make it short, the conversion company for our cars used what would have been a passenger power seat switch for the top up/down and the small windows up/down. A few of the ground tracers have to be drilled out and removed for the switch to work properly in our cars. Anyhow, Alex's stock switch completely disintegrated. We removed the rubber boot and there were about half a dozen broken pieces in there, probably from age and the hot Southwestern elements. The seat joystick sits on a pair of metal rockers that can bend downward over time. Bend those up, contact is restored, and it's possible to salvage the switch provided no plastic parts are cracked or missing. I'd also recommend a generous slathering of dielectric grease everywhere. It's not a terribly difficult switch to disassemble and inspect if you want to do that, but I will say that it can be a hair tricky to reassemble and get working right. I guess if you see smoke, you'll know you didn't do it right. ;)

OK, nevermind what I said before about it working. :(
Here are the pix...

The Mustang switch (note the 3 harness ends):

I mean....if you really really really wanted to rewire it, you could, but it's not a plug and play deal. This is, after all, a Ford vehicle. ;) Also don't forget that you would lose the front/rear tilt function if you used the Mustang switch.

It's going to be much easier to just replace the stock switch with another good, used one...

Problem is i cant find one i tried the stealership network and they found on in like north carolina so i ordered it got a call two weeks later and they lost it gone forever.  All the wrecks i checked in town dont have power seats.  If anyone here knows where i can get one that would be great and i will try taking the old one apart because it used to work fine.
