Need fox mustang struts.... July 31, 2006, 04:38:13 AM I have gone through two sets of stock struts and I'm certain it is due to my lowering springs. I have decided to try out some fox mustang struts in hopes that the shorter length will work better with the lowering springs. Should I just go with some KYB GR-2 or monroe replacement struts for 89-93 mustangs or should i try to find some used koni struts? Any additional thoughts or tips would be great as I am planning to take care of this within the next two weeks. Thanks. Quote Selected
Need fox mustang struts.... Reply #1 – July 31, 2006, 12:24:28 PM Well, it depends on how much you want to spend really. The KYBs and Monroes are OK, but they don't hold a candle to Konis or Bilsteins.I would actually recommend the Bilsteins over the Koni reds for general street performance use. Yeah they are non-adjustable, but offer a better ride and are suited to some pretty stiff rates as well. They are about the same price as Konis IIRC Quote Selected
