My Nerves were shot tonight!

My hands were actualy shaking, I think I was pretty close to a panic attack! And thats never happend to me before. I've been in alot closer calls and always kept my composier. I think its just cause I've been expecting to be in a wreck. I've had this bad felling all week.

Here's how it started out, I was driving down Vandalia st. A van pulled out in front of me. I swerved around it to miss it. Then the guy road my ass for 3 blocks giving me the finger! That just pissed me off. Then later on I was driving down US40. I was doing about 65 when this Idiot in a truck pulled in front of me. I swerved left to miss rear ending him, then as I was passing the guy a ****ind Durango pulled out into the left lane, I jammed on the brakes and was able to swerve back behind the ed truck! Well, just as there was almost enough room to get back in the left lane and pass the truck, he jammed on his brakes to make a right turn, and I had to jam on mine to avoid hitting him in the rear. Then swerve at the last possible second to get back behind the Durango! Well, I figured the Durango would get into the right lane and I'd just pass it in the left. He never moved, So I signaled and got into the right lane and started passing him. Thats when he tryes to run me off the ****ing road! I had to lay on the gas to get the hell out of the way! Then as we got into town he road my ass the entire way with his ****ing brights on! I wanted so badly to beat this guy's ass. But I knew if I got out of the car I was gonna go to jail. More than likly I would have punched out his window and pulled him out! I had to pull over and calm down I was so mad! Then when I got back to work my hands were shaking so bad I coudln't even clock back into the computer! I'm not even sure if it was from being angry or just that I've been wound so tight with the felling that I'm gonna get into another wreck or what.

Jail is the least thing you should be worried about if you're going to go the road rage route.

I had someone follow me home once out of a case of road rage.. and if it ever happens again, they're very likely to end up with 3 armor-piercing rounds in their engine block with 2 rounds left in the Mauser. I have a hunch that I'm not the only person in the world who's likely to react to road rage like that.. and you never know, one of those people may live near you. You never can tell.. and it's a good idea not to try and find out the hard way. I don't know how it is where you live, but where I live, a great many of us are armed.. and would not think twice about using what we have. I have no macho compulsion to get into fights at the drop of a hat.. if someone's putting myself or those I love in danger, I will react accordingly. Again, I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

On top of that, at least in my case.. if anyone ever attacked me the way you said you might've attacked the other person, they'd end up in the prison system here.. which I have rather influential connections in. That person would be in for a world of hurt when their lives are in the hands of my friends. You just never know when the person you drag out the window might be something like an off-duty cop, the mayor's kid, highly connected to local law enforcement/civil service/etc, or even some guy out on parole. Down here anyway, people like that can make you suffer for years.. if not disappear entirely.

I don't mean to be insulting, but I have to wonder sometimes when I read what you post about all these driving incidents. I'm not going to say that all these other people are without blame, and I realize you seem to be a magnet for plain ol' bad luck/weirdness/whatever, but perhaps you also need to ease off the skinny pedal a little bit from time to time.

MMM, thats remind me and old history about my dad....

Some day in the 90´s he was going to home in his VW atlantic at the highway. This car was slow and he was cruising at 80 km/h. A big truck was slower and my dad tried to pass it. The truck driver didnt give the pass and accelerates when my dad was trying to pass. My dad gave at least 4 tries to pass , but the truck driver accelerates and closes the truck to the opposite lane. And when my dad tries to do the 6.-th try, the truck driver started to apply the brakes too hard, literally playing with the truck. That was too bad....My dad accelerates and when he was in the truck driver position in the opposite lane and the truck driver starts to close to the car, my dad shoot with his .38 special to the air. The truck driver inmediately stops.................

That was a lesson of road rage....

I think you should invest in a mountain bike buddy. You apparently were never meant to drive a motor vehicle.

Besides that, this thread is proving to me once again that there are too many guns in the US.
