Oil and Water gauges...

I like my base digital cluster, but i want more info about the "engine operation" and a cluster swap not be a good choice for me (too expensive). Its possible to add an Oil Pressure gauge and water temp gauge to my car ? i dont have the remotely idea how to put two of these.....
And would be good suggestions where to put these things......personally i like the Tach where the clock goes, and the other two (or three if i put a voltimeter) where the factory EQ goes.....

I put water and oil gauges in my 88 5.0 bird. water temp is simple, just goes where the stock sensor goes (the gauges I got are mechanical, not electric like the stock ones). as for the oil gauge, I just grounded the wire for the stock sender and hooked up my aftermarket one. I've yet to completely install the water gauge (first one I got broke, and I havent gotten around to hooking up the sensor yet), but the oil guage works great.

in case you're wondering, I got 2 5/8" iEquus white faced gauges from ebay. search for equus white and you'll see em, they look  good and are pretty inexpensive

Another possible gauge location (unless you have a T/C or have an electric antenna) is the panel where the T/C ride height/etc switches go. The panel is blank on the base car but has a cutout on a T/C. I swapped the T/C panel for mine and mounted a Datel green LED voltmeter there on a piece of black plastic. I used Plastruct plastic tubes as spacers that I screwed into the underdash behind the meter to hold it in place (with electrical tape spread over the ends to make them a bit tacky so the black plastic backing will fit snugly instead of sliding). The meter can be a bit hard to see behind the steering wheel/column shifter when you're driving, but it at least works (and matches the digital dash and clock nicely).
