scratching noise

ok i just got my oil changed and right after i got out of the shop. i pulled out of the shop and heard a sound that sounded like something grinding across a metal plate. it only happens when i get going like right in the middle of a gear and then sometimes when im going like 30mph. idk what is wrong but as soon as i get one thing fixed something else goes wrong. i let the problem slide and let the car rest for a little bit. but the next day it is still doing it and still doing it this day. now i wanna find out what the problem is b4 it gets worse. i can get a video for you if u want.

Verify you have good oil pressure with an oil guage.  You can rent one from an auto parts store.  Remove your oil pressure sending unit, screw the guage in and you're set.  You'll want to take note of the pressure at idle just after startup (cold idle), idle after th car is running at operating temp. for a while (hot idle) and at 2000 RPM while at normal operating temp.

I've gone through a number of motor mounts with these cars.
From your first description I assumed it was the shields on your cat. converter(s).
