no more carb

i have been gathering some parts and thursday after some 3 wheeler riding i tore down my pickup and started the fuel injection conversion. monday instead of working i drove it for the first time. i did the megasquirt thing and tomorrow i am taking it to get exhaust put on it (who would have thought it to be loud with about 6" of pipe off the manifolds:evilgrin: ) any way if any of you are thinking about doing this....dont its expensive and takes alot of work:nono:  but it is cool when done. any way now neither of my cars have carbs and i am loving that.:tg:

Wouldn't it have been easier and cheaper to just use the EFI setup off of a 87 and up 300?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

the first person to either come pick them up or pay shipping can have the intake and carb. it is for a 300 inline and its all in good condition.
