(From Ford CD´s reparation manual)
Motor Synchronization (Timing)

Note:
The roof sliding outer glass panel should be in the CLOSED position for synchronization.

If the sliding roof panel motor (15790) is removed from the vehicle, it must always be checked for synchronization before it is installed. The sliding roof panel motor will automatically stop at each position. If the sliding roof panel motor is not synchronized, remove the sliding roof panel motor and adjust it as follows:

1.   Connect sliding roof panel motor wiring connector to roof panel wiring connector.

2.   Operate roof sliding panel switch (15B691) to advance sliding roof rail and guide (502C06) until the sliding roof panel motor stops in the closed position (second long operation).

3.   Disconnect sliding roof panel motor wiring connector from wiring connector.

4.   Note: It may be necessary to rotate sliding roof panel motor slightly to engage drive splines when installing.

Make sure lifter arms and guidance ramps are aligned. Connect the sliding roof panel motor and install to roof sliding panel rail (51070).

I understood:
Remove the sunroof motor....

If you removed it, you´ll need to test and calibrate the "timing"

Well, with the motor out of the sunroof, connect to its original switch

------Something at step 2, i dont understand anything--------

After that operation, disconnect the switch from the motor, prior to install...

Adjust the sunroof motor a little, to engage the splines...

Reinstall everything, checking the alignment...

I dont understand the step 2

I got this Cd yesterday and this may be the cure for my bad sunroof (i checked the troubleshoot guide and it suggest to do this)

Thanks...

I think what it is saying is to press the switch until the motor stops in the closed position.

Pressing the switch will move the rail and guide.

It should take about 1 second to do.
