Re: Say 'Bye to Neon Reply #4 – December 15, 2004, 09:27:50 PM so it isn't against any laws to **** up rental cars? I thought it was just one of those "urban legend" kinda things when people say you can get in a "free accident" Quote Selected
Re: Say 'Bye to Neon Reply #5 – December 16, 2004, 03:41:16 AM I can't see how you can rent a car without giving them a name and everything. once they discover the car's condition I'm sure you'd hear it from someone. Quote Selected
Re: Say 'Bye to Neon Reply #6 – December 16, 2004, 04:24:15 AM Well, yeah, you're not supposed to intentionaly destroy rental cars. But they do offer you insurence on them. (Its like $7-$10 a day extra) But basicly if you buy the insurence and you total the car you don't have to pay for it. Just don't expect them to rent to you in the future. Budget won't rent to me (well, to my dad sence I'm not 25) Cause I kinda destroyed the suspention on a 2003 Taurus! But yeah, if you are 25 with a valid licence, you can rent a car, take out the insurence and destroy it. I wouldn't make it obvious though. If you pull a Jackass and take it to the durby I'm sure there is some kind of leagle action that could be taken. Quote Selected
