Dammit

The exhaust system on my tempo is rusty and I've been kinda "band-aiding" it along lately...I just replaced a bend on it that rusted out the other day, now the pipe a little ways ahead of the ler has a hole in it which I attempted to patch. Now I just went online and I found out the whole pipe from the cat to the ler is like $25 to replace :toilet:  So instead of monkeying around with it the last year or two I coulda just replaced the whole thing.

Sigh...

I probably band-aided the exhaust on my LTD about 5 times.  If I pulled in the driveway too fast it would pull that flexible tube  off that I put on to replace the curved section of pipe.  I know how you feel.  The guys at Autozone were like 'you know, it probably would've been cheaper to buy the right parts and do it once'.  And I hung my head in shame because I was just schooled by an autozoner.

for the stang I spent $30 for clamps and connecting pipes and made my t-bird exhaust work.. also spent about 6 hours tweaking it around to get it right. Theres a local shop that does basic single exhausts for $100..
