It Begins, Muhhahahahahah!!!!!!

Well after 2 years and about 6000grand later engine work has finally begun on my 5.0HO converted TC.
Just got everything apart(again,after talking the car apart several times for various reasons,swap etc)heads,intakes,headers etc.
Got the new heads,headers and rockers on so far,tommorow or at the latest wednesday,it should be a running car again.
In case any off ya'll don't know what i'm doing with me yapping about it here and there for the last 2 years and my pics in the readers ride section, i'll give ya a quick refresher.

87 TC 5.0HO conversion(done last year)
200amp 3g and mini starter conversion(done last year
8.8 mac rear end girdle(done last month)
che upper and lower tubular control arms(done last month)
2200 stall convertor(done last year)
PA performance valvebody
edelbrock 60379 heads,o-ringed for boost or nos
cobra upper and lower intakes
70mm bbk throttlebody
Ceramic coated unequal 1 5/8 headers
crane cobra 1.7rr rockers with stock cam
kirban billet fp regulator
42lb injectors
Msd tfi coil,6btm ignition,pro billet distributor
Anderson pms ford programable piggyback computer
innovate xd-16 wideband with LC-1 controller
And now for the fun part
vortech SQ-trim 8-10lb supercharger with upr powerpipe.
Should be an absouloute blast to drive once is all said and done.
I'm taking pics with my camera phone so they will be up eventually(please be patient) I will keep you all updated.:D

Car should be pretty similar to hawks car in the eng and tuning department(he does have a bit more power than i will but 450rwhp and 500crank should do me just fine:evilgrin:

sounds like a hell of a combo you put together, should run great. i have a supercharger in my future also

6000 grand, you spend $6 million on that thing? ;)

Wanna do up my 5.0? ;)  Good job so far. It should run really good when you're done.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
