where can a guy find a cowl induction hood for an 87 thunderbird. i would like some input as to what would look good. i'm starting to like the look of the turbo coupe hoods. i also would like to find a set of ten holes for my bird too. can anyone help me out. only bad thing is that i live in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada. yes that is a mouth full.

Well, there are quite afew board members that are fellow Canadians, so that may not be a big problem. The forum search seemed to reset itself when the board switched to godaddy, but if you look back you'll find a thread about this already that lists a couple places to find one. I think a company called American Body or something like that makes one that's nice. They make a ton of fiberglass parts for our cars too. Someone here will chime in.

heres a place that sells fiberglass parts, not sure if they sell cowl hoods but there are usually some that pop up on ebay.

Is this the place you mean? http://www.usbody.com/ I know they have cowl hoods the have other parts depending on what year you have. Ive never dealt with the company directly but going by the descriptions and the quality of the work. I do know that when I can get the funding for it thats where Im getting my hood from if that helps any. The swimsuit models on the page dont hurt either :D

I do believe I will be getting the monster 5" cowl hood for my drag bird. Methinks I will need it with a 351, super victor intake with carb hat for blowthru:D

hey that showcar link has body kits for the birds too.... also cowl hoods.. wish it had pics with it tho
