Valve Cover question?

I need to replace the valve cover gaskets on my 88 Cougar LS 5.0 and I was wondering if I'm going to have to remove anything on the intake manifold to get them off. It appears that all the bolts on the valve covers can be removed without pulling anything else off, but it looks like it would be a real trick getting the valve covers actually out of the engine compartment because of so much stuff from the SEFI being so close to the covers. Need advice please before I tackle this job.

youll have to pull the upper intake to get the driverside valvecover off.....or else its a real pain in the ass....

when you do so remember where all your vacspoogee lines go... and if possible use the rubber gaskets
