Who's Pimpin Indiglo Gauges?

What I don't like about the evilbay ones are the fact that they're for a TC only, no '88 Sport versions, and none available, either.
I already emailed the outfit that makes 'em, and they don't plan on making em either, dammit.
Is Panther37 still around on here?
I'd like to see about a set of gauge faces....

The thing I hate about the ebay ones is the 85MPH speedo. I can forgive the TC tach, I can forgive the fact that he won't make a Canadian version, but I cannot forgive the fact that they only come in 85MPH versions and not 140MPH versions...

why didn't you paint your needles Red_lx? I can see how they would be hard to see at night.

I thought about it, but since the only thing that really helps you see the needles is the small amount of light that comes through them with a couple of bulbs still in the cluster (the speedo and tach needles that is). The accessory gauge needles aren't lit at all so painting them wouldn't help...

It's just the black background that's the problem.

I need to get some glue because some of my guages aren't staying put. I did test them with a battery and it does appear that the on/off switch does indeed turn them on and off. And it isn't a memory switch either, so you will need to push the button every time you want your guages to come on. I need to figure a way around this as I think that is kinda lame. Actually... I may have a solution.

Other than that I like them. But I can't give a full eval until I get some road time with them. My TC won't be mobile for a couple more weeks.

That doesn't make any sense...like I said I wired mine directly into my headlight switch. They come on when I switch on the headlights, and the switch that looks like an "on-off" switch changes the background color between blue and green. I know I didn't get a fluke and get the only kit that you can do that with :P

Also, I had problems with the accessory faces staying in place too so I put some double-sticky scotch tape on the back of them. It's held them in place for 2 years so far...

I just cut out the switch and spliced the wires together and that did the trick. I want to do the headlight relay mod... I honestly can't believe they don't come like that from the factory.

And yes you must of gotten a fluke kit. xD

guages came today and I have them installed in the cluster,  where is the best place to tap them into a power supply since you have to manually turn them on and off?  and is there a way to bypass the switch to make them come on with the dash lights?  installing the cluster in the morning.  thanks for any and all help

Just wire it through a relay...

Run a wire from the "power" wire on your headlight switch through the relay as the signal wire, and then run the power wire for the gauges across the other side of the relay. Then they'll come on with the headlights.
