pulled this out of my cougar, (NOT AN HO COMPUTER...)

im pissed now, i took the guys word for it when i saw the stock shorties, aluminum valve covers, thicker upper intake, and bigger tb. i should have checked the fireing order too...

so what happens if you put a HO engine in a SO car and run the SO computer? it dosnt fire rite correct? can this be corrected by rewireing the sparkplug wires? because its still got the SO wireing for the plugs and 14# injectors? grey tops...(couldnt origionaly see the color of the injectors it was so dirty)

If you have an HO cam, you need the HO plug wire sequence too.

An SO computer will fire the injectors in the "wrong" sequence for the HO cam (some early, some late). Rearranging the injector wires/pins will fix the sequence, but not the inability of the SO computer to handle the HO's improved breathing.
