T-5 transmission question

I found a T-5 on ebay that looks like it might go for pretty cheap, but there is a catch of course: it states in the description that

"The front collar over the input shaft has been broken in shipping , other than that it is supposed to be a good transmission."

What exactly does that mean, as I've never seen one of these, and don't know how hard that would be to repair/change.

if it's the bearing retainer it's like $40 and four bolts. i can't tell from that pic.

I'm guessing it's the thing the throwout bearing slides back & forth on. If it's anything like any other manual tranny I've worked on it should be easy to replace...
