To:Eric/Anyone who knows about the gauges on his site... March 01, 2006, 12:06:17 PM I was checking out the gauges on your site (in the "Media" section), and those things are huge!!! Were they made to be used, or are they for educational purposes? Has anyone ever used them? I'm interested in some white-faced gauges, but I don't necessarily want to go to the reverse-glow deal. To:Eric/Anyone who knows about the gauges on his site... Reply #1 – March 01, 2006, 12:13:57 PM The resolution is high on those so that they'll print out razor-sharp. That's why they're "big"...your browser wants to see things at screen resolution (72dpi) but the files are saved as 300dpi. Lots of people have used them, and created their own, from those files...no problems have been reported yet. Quote Selected
Eric! Reply #2 – March 01, 2006, 12:19:41 PM Ok, cool. But I'm gonna have to downsize them, right? Quote Selected
To:Eric/Anyone who knows about the gauges on his site... Reply #3 – March 01, 2006, 01:29:58 PM no, you'll just have to choose the size paper to print them to, NOT downsize the photo. as eric said, you want the high resolution for a crisp clear print out. Quote Selected
