A thing of beauty... part 2!

That thing is awesome. I've always loved the Broncos and the K5s. I wish my truck looked that good, maybe some day. It's in really good shape now, but definitely not show material. I gotta finish the Cougar before I start doing modifications to the truck.

Very nice Bronco, but I'd take a 74-79 Ramcharger over that any day. The Ramcharger's roof comes off (not just over the back part, like the K5's and Broncos, but the whole roof, right to the windshield), and my father had one when I was a kid and it was too cool. His was special order, a '78 Ramcharger Power Wagon. There were plenty of Ramchargers, and plenty of Power Wagons, but only a few (fewer than 10, according to the dealership) Ramcharger Power Wagons. It had a 440, 4-speed, full time 4WD, 1-ton frame, full floating axles with 8-lug wheels, and 35" tires on 16" split rims, all factory stock. Dad added a 1500-watt CB system (very, very illegal) and an engine driven inverter to power it. During the year we lived in Alberta he would drive into the foothills and talk to his friends back home in Nova Scotia on the CB!

Someday I will build a copy of it (except the CB) to the best of my memory.

Anyway, sorry for the hijack - nice Bronco :D My father's friend down the road had a '78 Bronco when my father had his Ramcharger

I just love this body style of Bronco! And this thing is awesome!

Repaint it, put on some real tires, and lose those headlight covers and your stylin.

along with the lost headlight covers (yuck and illegal here) i would also put in a manual and get those after market guages in a custom guage panel like they belong instead of cluttering up the underside of that nice dash. oh and body lifts suck. but other than tose things that is a sweet bronco. i realy like the paint and that body style. my dream truck has always been a 79 bronco like the one my mom drove when i was a little kid.

That is one clean Bronco but whoever built it has some old school taste. If it were mine the Red Loom and the Boot on the transfercase would have to find its way to a chevy or the garbage.

Heck yeah, those are cool! But I'll stick to the Bronco's. lol... I "had" plans for my '79, but it looks like I've got to sell it. :( Oh well, I have plans for the Cougar instead.

Nice truck but i would take another K5 over a bronco any day. Before i had the Cougar i had a 76 Jimmy High Sierra rolling on 32" BFGs and powered by a 400 small block. It was a pretty fun truck till the frame started cracking around the steering box. Used to have pics of it till my computer was stolen back in december.
