valve covers?

What aftermarket valve covers will fit? I just got some moroso ones, the driver side fit fine, but the passenger side washiznitting the throttle bracket, and it wouldn't fit, so I took them back because I think they were for CFI engines. What valve covers will fit on an EFI? What size will fit? Does anyone have any aftermarket ones?
Thanks.

I'm guessing any fox mustang ones will fit. I got some chrome ones off of ebay, both of them have holes for a filler/breather. I found some low-profile caps for them at autozone, but I have yet to put them in. they look low enough to fit.

but I'm sure any FRPP covers would fit, as well as any made to fit 5.0 fox stangs

You need a phenolic spacer to space your upper intake up, then you can use just about any covers.  Mustang Gt covers fit without a spacer.  :ies:

Yea, it said it would fit 289-351 ford smallblock. Yea, I also thought of that spacer for the upper intake, I wasn't sure if it would work or not, good thing I got one at the swap meet. Also my other question is, will the bolt be long enough or will I need longer bolts?
Thanks

when they say it'd fit 289-351, it probably means the older, carbed ones.

they all fit the cylinder heads, but most were designed for the old school carb guys:p sence nobody uses cfi for proformance :P (at least ford saw the error of its cfi ways and changed to efi, unlike some other car brands) anyway, i have a 1/2 or 3/8 heat spacer on my car and the chrome ford racing valve covers i have off a carbed 302 still dont look like they will fit. maybe i'd go with the 1" ebay has em cheap, like 40 bux and it comes with gaskets and hardware.

p.s.
i know my spelling sux :p

Or you could pull one of these for a breather setup:

And yes, I've cleaned up my engine a lot since then

Here's some pics of my intake with a 1" spacer, clearing the tall valve covers. :ies:  :ies:

Crystal:
Your 7 and 8 plug wires should not be next to each other in the wire separator. One should be in the first slot and the other in the fourth.
These need to be separated as much as possible because in the firing order, 8 fires immediately after 7. If the wires are close and parallel for a long run, the magnetic field around the 7 wire affects the timing of the 8 plug.
