i was wonderin' Reply #2 – February 16, 2006, 05:12:47 PM wrong swap if yeh taint got da monay nd da times... i didnt realy look but im willing to bet its just a long block, not a complete engine. this would leave you searching for all of the rest of the parts too make it work. with the 1700 you would spend on that you could EASILY pull off a 5.0 HO swap and have some cash left over... i was wonderin' Reply #3 – February 16, 2006, 11:13:31 PM Yeah I don't think an SC swap would be very cost-effective...and you'd still have a 3.8 and probably get to deal with a few blown head gaskets. Thing is only 210-220 hp anyway, which is pretty py for a supercharged V6 (2.3 Turbo in the TC's made 190 hp!).If you're looking for different, though, knock yourself out. This pic is a Fox mustang, but it's the same engine bay...notice the rat's nest of wiring. i was wonderin' Reply #4 – February 18, 2006, 01:34:59 AM yeah on second thought i might just swap in a mustang engine. i found a site that has mustang engine packages with 380 hp to around 450 or something. i just dont know if something like that would work with my tranny or if it would be cost effective.
