List of Ford engines February 04, 2006, 03:27:05 PM ListI was just searching Wikipedia this morning out of sheer boredom and found this nice comprehensive list of Ford engines. It's got just about every one on there that I can think of. They have the 429 but I din't see the Boss version. Either way, it's a cool list for anyone that has ever wondered exactly how many different engines Ford put out. Anyhow, I'm sure this is no news to a lot of you, and I'm sure there'll be at least one of you that lets me know, *cough*Chuck*cough* but I thought it was pretty cool. Quote Selected

List of Ford engines Reply #2 – February 04, 2006, 05:07:11 PM Funny, they have the Volvo inline six and 4.4 V8 (based on Yamaha/SHO V8) but not the Volvo inline 5... I also notice they mention the Modular V8 in DOHC but not SOHC or 3-valve configuration. I also don't see the mother of all Ford engines, the 427 SOHC (even though it's in the picture at the right of the V8 engine list Quote Selected

I've found with a few of them, you actually have to click into the subcategories to get the more specialized engines. Quote Selected
