It was a dark night, the roads were all slick
as slobber on calf's face.
I was going down a gravel road, when the 'Bird got out from under me, and slid right off in a ditch, on the passenger side.
I lost the shift controlling rod on the side of the tranny, (tv cable?)
and most of the exhaust system, and did something to the front end.
It pulls real hard to the right, and I havn't had time to block it up, and get under the car to inspect for damage.
It has 200 thousand on it, so I figure it probably needs some maintenance anyway, not to mention a new brake line for the right front. I mean the hard line down on the inside, not the rubber hose that goes to the caliper.
I've had this car since March of last year, and never once has it let me down, except for a coupla flat tires, but the guy that was doing that, well, he got his, but that's another story for another time. (sounds kinda like a Dare story!)
Well, will let y'all know what I find tomorrow when I get under there and check it out...
