Looks like my moms van was written off and sold at a salvage auction in NY in 94 :eek: I told her I didnt like it... but what you gona tell a woman

Thanks darkthunder! Looks like my car is clean! Minor accident in athens county in 2003. Car ran off the road.Started life in west virginia (dealer sticker on trunk was parkersburg w/v) and made its way to the hocking hills sometime in 97, been here almost ten years! Odometer readings are all consistant too.

When I got the car it had 211,000 miles on it. Now it has 234,000

And lucky me! Here I thought it had been in an accident (based on the mangled bumper covers and broken header bracket), but it seems it was NOT hit before I got it, was NOT repaired about 1 1/2 years later from a minor truck sideswipe while I was at work, and was NOT delared a "total loss" by the insurance company last February (even though that's what it said on the paper with the cheque). I guess I'll just keep driving it for another 10 years, then sell it as "Never been in an accident!"... Should bring big bucks.

Moral of the story: Carfax (and others) only know what they've been told. :hick:
