Aaaahhhh!!!! I'm Going To Kill Somebody!!!

I'm soooo mad right now I can't even breath! Saturday night in Longview some punk went down our street and keyed EVERY car, even my all-original 83 and Layla. Then we find Audra's TC had the driver's lock picked. Well, Audra just called to tell me that somebody busted out her window and stole her radio and speakers (cheap-ass Wal-Mart Jensen shiznit, we're talking like $50 worth of of stuff new at the most!). They ripped her MINT interior to shreds and f-ed her locks all up. That's SOOO IT. I am DONE with this ! I'm going to ground my cars to a 40000 Watt transformer and crispy-fry the next mother f-er that touches it!! WHY???!!!!

That sucks ass. I know how you feel - twice I lent my car to my father and twice it came back with broken windows - the first time they stole a $99 JVC deck and completely mangled the dash and right door window molding doing so. The second time they didn't get anything but broke the quarter window.

What windows did they break, and what interior parts do you need? I'll soon have plenty of red stuff available after I swap the TC interior into my white car. I also have two good TC door lock cylinders (black bezel) with the key still on my parts TC...

...Then again, I just realized I'm typing this to somebody with his own TC graveyard :hick:

So is Audra's TC insured?

Reminds me of something I did in high school. I kept my Trans Am's doors unlocked, knowing that if a thief wanted my radio he'd take it, and this way I'd only lose a radio instead of a radio and a window  (could only afford liability). After losing two decks I got tired of it and gutted an old Kenwood cassette deck. I then filled it up with model rocket engines and wired it so that no matter how they hooked it up it would blow. Sure as there's shiznit in a cat it went missing. Never did hear if it hurt anyone, but nobody ever ****ed with my car again at that school...

The thing that sucks is that even though you may have insurance, with how old these cars are and more sentimental value than market value, the insurance company will total the car for anything and give you a grand or so. If someone rips into your car and screws up the mint interior, we have no options other than to pray you can search the junk yard and find something which is not likely. The safest thing to do is park the car in the garage and hope you dont wreck it when you do drive it. It sucks.

Her car will be repaired (by me of course). It was about $1000 in damages but luckily I keep a "stash" of spare stuff for our personal cars. The ed thing is, she's a high school science teacher and her kids love her. I'll do some talking and some knuckle-bashing, someone WILL pay.
