Fred you seem like the creative type of person who would have already made the switch to firefox.

Yeah, haven't bothered. IE seems to work just fine for me.

I stopped using IE (went to FireFox) because my spyware/popup blocker couldn't stop the latest intrusion of pop-ups :(

These popups still occur when I use windows explorer (ie windows folders) - how the **** do I get rid of these popups - they're driving me crazy! I have Norton Antivirus, AVG, AdAware & Spybot.

If someone could help me with this problem I would be most grateful!!

*EDIT*

I keep my 'puter clean by using  Cleaner, RecScrubXP, MS Antispyware, Firefox, and good ol' common sense (I will not  click on any banner, in fact I have Adblock set so I don't see 'em to begin with)

Safari 90% of the time, firefox the rest. Zero anti-spyware programs, zero anti-virus programs, zero anti-adware programs, etc. With Safari's "block pop up windows" box checked, 99.9% pop up free.

Same here, except I use Safari about 100% of the time. Also have been fond of Opera using dialup.

mozilla and miranda (for tabbed IM's) still have to use IE for work cause the web programmers have a problem with writing for anything OTHER than IE.

haven't used many of the extensions yet, but smoothwheel sounds cool.
