G*DDAM*NED seat

My power driver seat is stuck in the full front position and the sob wont go back, if anyone else has had this problem please help.

I did - good thing I had a spare motor driver handy :rollin:

Seriously, the wiring get's pulled out-of-place/cut on these ed seats all the time. You have to pull the seat (carefully disconnect the plugs) & look for broken or otherwise mangled wires. You could have a problem with the switch or you could try disconnecting the battery to reset the motor dirver circuit, but these seats are notorious for breaking/pulling the wires from the control box.

Ha eat that you py seat i finally got it to go back after looking around under the seat i started to screw around with some of the wires, yeah i know un professional, but boom its back in its normal ghetto lean position. This was all brought around by the impulse to clean my backseat. Hey at least i got 8 bucks in change out of it.

Oh, believe me, I've done the "wire juggle" on many occasions! :lol: This last time I used a lot of electrical tape and soldering iron to get everything copasetic again! There have been some good fires caused by that wiring BTW - do a search!

witch to manual seats and get rid of thoce bulky motors and fire hazard. inless you want your car to be this:flame:  plus it will get rid of alot of weight.

I have done some thinking and i personally like my ass warmer for in the middle of these North west ohio winters. Ill keep them, the ass warmers arent the only reason i want to keep em tho its a 20th and i want to keep the interior and exterior as close to factory as i can.

Yes heated seats i love them. I just wont let anyone  ex. mom drive my car she is the only one who would need to move the seat to drive it.

88turbo, I sent you a PM.

I bought my car from a little old lady so when I got it the seat was pushed all the way up and of course inoperative. I managed to jump it to get it back but I would much rather have manual seats as opposed to fixing these.
