Here is my '88 5.0L 5 speed bird Reply #6 – December 24, 2005, 07:01:18 PM Believe it or not, it actually sounds pretty tough with the glass packs. I didn't want to run them, but I was kind of in a hurry to finish it up and they were all I had layiing around at the time. I plan to eventually switch to either a side pipe set up or run flowmasters american thunder lers.As for the intake, well, I originally started to polish it. Started to look really nice too. Had it about half done, when I relized I was wasting my time, because I plan to throw a Cobra set up on it by spring. And that intake is going to s when that happens. So I got a can of Metalcast's ground coat, and their Anodized blue paint and voila. Did the rad brackets too.I also plan to make a custom grill, but I don't think I will be using the TC header. Becoming to common. (although it does look good) Quote Selected
