a few diffrent questions

hey every just wanted to say sorry i know i been a nother with lots of ?'s but i need the help well here it goes
1.can i make my non roller motor a roller motor by putting roller lifters with the h bar hold down (i have been told i could)
2.what heads are better c8,d8 or 351w heads (not sure the casting on them).
3.are all rods lengths for 302s the the same (5.09)
4.any one wanna trade a torker2 intake for a dual plane one
well thanks for all the help guys i am trying to build a decent motor that will hopefully get me in the 13's thanks every one

1 yes if you tap the lifter valley for the "spider" that holds the "H" bars down. We have done a few with no problems


2 the c8 heads would be good if they are 4 brl heads but need the large knotches in the exhaust ports cut down to help exhaust flow.

3 all 302 rods are the same H.O rods are based on the old boss castings


4 no but there are some performnance products intakes on e-bay for 114-130 bucks.

ok that brings up another ? but first some inside i have a 68' 302 motor in my 84' tbird the motor is now  so i got a hold of 6 h.o. rods with keith black 281 pistons i bought 2 more psitons and was wondering if i put them on my old rods would that cause prolems thanks

Yes you can get a reto fit roller can setup and use the ford .
I would look into the cost for all of that. Then look at the cost for crane roller lifters and a real roller.  I'm not a big fan of fords stock roller setup.

any machine shop should be able to get you 2 more matching rods
