Colbert report Reply #2 – December 01, 2005, 07:59:07 AM Quote from: pro-five-oh I have a lot more respect for that guy now. not if he's only willing to pay 6k for a mint car. He's insane if he thinks he'll find one for that, I know i wouldnt sell it for only 6k. here a little more on the gt. It offered a firmer suspension, bigger shocks, thicker anti-roll bar, power front disc brakes, wide-oval tires, low-restriction exhaust system and unique styling features. The Cougar GT's engine was a 390 V8 rated at 335 hp, capable of 0-60 acceleration in 8.1 seconds. Transmissions included 3-speed and 4-speed manuals or an optional 3-speed Merc-O-Matic that allowed "manual shifting" down to 2nd gear below 71 mph or 1st gear below 20 mph. Quote Selected

Colbert report Reply #4 – December 01, 2005, 08:06:17 PM Right...the mere fact he went on about a car was cool. The fact that it was a COUGAR was great. The best part: the Cougar wasn't the butt of his joke and he never mentioned how great Toyotas are these days! Quote Selected
