I would go with an all black interior myself, although, it will be alot more of a pain to keep clean. Also check they fabric dyes avaliable. I just ran out and checked my 86 and my 87 doors, and they appear to be the exact same. They may be diffrent though, I couldnt find my tape mesure to be sure. BUt yeah, I think that they will work.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

All 1983-88 door panels interchange. The only differences seem to be where the screws for the door pull straps go through. You may have to drill new holes in the door panel for mounting them, or move the clips, whichever. Otherwise no big deal.

I believe http://www.svpu.com still has new seat covers for the Mark VII seats but not sure about the TC seats. Most of the time, people need to visit the upholstery shop for custome recovering, or dye/paint the seats themselves.

Black (or other dark-colored) carpeting makes the seats look like they're "floating". That's what I did in the convertible. If you really like the burgundy color and want to keep it, black carpeting would be a good way to go.

You Will Have To Remove The Clips On The Door Also You Will Have To Make Sure Its Lined Up Righ Or It Will Hit The Rear Panel I Did This Last Year To My 86 But Dont Remember All The Steps But It Was Not A Direct Fit But It Will Work
