Any one looking for a wonderful cougar in the upstate new york area??? I need to sell her the only thing wrong now is she has a tranny leak i dont know exactly where i will look this tuesday or wednesday and let you know. 3.8 that was just put in a few weeks ago has about 70,000 on the motor about 150,000 on the rest of the car. Being a New York car you would expect a rust bucket NO MAJOR RUST some surface rust is all needs minor things no major body damage either small dent on fender is all new header panel just installed when motor went in. Found the problem

I found where the leak is its coming out between the tranny and the motor im guessing either a front seal on the tranny or the torque converter wasnt installed properly ( i wasnt the one who put it in ). Pics still to come. Make me some offers i want it to go to someone who loves cougars i dont want to junk her. The tranny problem will be fixed by the way.

ok PROBLEM WAS FRONT SEAL WAS BAD CHANGED IT AND TRANNY RUNS FINE WITH NO PROBLEM SHIFTS GOOD. NO LEAKS STILL WAITING FOR THE PICS THOUGH ILL GET THEM UP ASM SOON AS POSSIBLE. THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE INTERESTED?????????

Im stuck i dont know whats wrong with the car. Tranny still leaks???????? seems like coming form front seal again but its new. Can a bad torque converter cause it to leak???
