5.0 heads, non-smog.

I have a pair of 5.0 heads that I was going to use on my 347 stroker engine. Money didn't come around fast enough so I decided to keep the 2.3 turbo....but that decision came after I bought the heads.

They were checked out b4 I got them and were machined flat. They have new valves which have a 5 angle job, new high lift springs (.525" lift), new retainers and seals. I don't know the donor vehicle of the heads but if my research of the casting number is correct, they have one of the biggest combustion chambers available on a 5.0 head (stock). These are perfect for adding a supercharger or turbo and running any serious boost. My recommendation would be to port them first.

I'd like $600 plus shipping. Pics are available come this weekend and I can relook up the casting numbers too.

Ok I did get to cc the chambers, they are 58cc's roughly. So they have been milled pretty extensively. They are D20E heads, non-smog, large plugs. Very capable heads with the right hands. The springs tested out to 300 lbs at 1.250". For $600, I'll slightly port them and polish the ports and combustion chamber. Flow numbers are 170cfm at .550" lift intake and 127 cfm at .550" lift for the exhaust.

I'd like to see these go to a nice Fox 'bird or Cat.
