3.8 Rod bearings

Is it possible to get the oil pan off whith the engine in the car?  I have a rod just barely starting to talk.  On most, I can jack the engine up some(motor mounts disconnected), drop the pan and roll in some new rod bearings. 

Really not wanting to rebuild since the engine still runs great and uses no oil..
