Can Search funtion be modified to accept 3 letter words?

The minimum seems to be 4 currently. This keeps words such as "3.8" "TAB" "fox" "a/c" "egr" and many others from being searchable. Would it negatively affect the server to lower the minimum count to 3?

ah yes, had the "egr" search problem on another board. Annoying really

Looks like the new update changed the search parameters back to default.
