k-frame

ok I want to use mustang motor mounts but don't want to swap the whole k-frame,  is it possible to cut the metal pieces off the mustang k-frame and weld to the t-bird k-frame?

Sounds like a big PITA to me, but it might be possible.

If you're interested, I'm working on some poly motor mounts for the 86-88 5.0s.  They're still in the prototype stage at this point, but they will be available in the not too distant future.

All '86-'88 Birds/Cougs use the same unique K member... '85 earlier use the Mustang mounts.

it would be easier to just swap the k-member or pick up a tubular one cheap.
