B&M Trick shift trans fluid

Ive never tried it so today I went and bought 13 quarts of it :wtf:  to try in my truck before I put it my cougar to see if it works. Its like $4.50 a quart so it better! :macgun:
Has anyone ever tried it before? Does it work? :dunno: Anyway we asked if it doesnt work could we return it? He said as long as we put it back in the containers :giggle: Im holding him to it!

I was thinking of going with that Redline stuff once I get the transmissions (on both Birds) worked over.. but I'd be curious to know how well this stuff works, too.

It's prolly just Type F or something like that (with more friction modifiers than Dexron-II or III)

From what I understand it ain't nuthin but slightly improved F fliud. All the drag racers I know(and myself) use std ole F and have no problems.

What brand of type F do you use? I need to do the gasket on my c4 and can only find the wal*mart brand stuff and another "house brand" at a local parts store and I trust those about as much as the "universal" stuff they sell.

Tranny plans include a shift kit and tq convertor anyway.  I think I'll just rock the regular fluid.  And, as you said DT, a better cooler.  I have Eric's original convertible tranny with lo-miles to build up, so hopefully the OD band is good.

Well its in,, all 13 quarts of it! There actually is a difference, you can actually feel the thing shift now. The whole trans fluid change cost me $87.50 , would I do it again......well its no shift kit but its the closest thing my truck will get to one, at least this year. And there is always the hope that its better trans fluid.
Ill probly just go with Redline in my cat.
