Re: 85T bird Reply #3 – September 18, 2005, 01:43:13 PM there my y 10 holes it was easy to paint them then clean then up.I have centerlines and another set of clean 10 holes.List of whats done will start to get long.87 8.8 TC rearend Violated with Strang spool axles and 4.10 gear :)Rear susp is Southside lowers boxed in upers with pollys.Stock springs and drag shocks.Frame is done tork boxs are done.Front sus has stock springs KYB 3 way ajust struts stock K member for now.G force T5 tranny Motor is heart of the car and it beats louder then other companys heartbeat lolStock block, scat crank and rods, Forged pistons AGAIN with hellfire rings,Bennett Racing roller cam and roller lifter and SVO roller rockers.Still has 7E heads but there worked over and this still what holds this motor back the most. Intake is holly street domanator and its ported out and intake heads and headers are all matched. Carb i use to run was 750 demon but i got one of the proform carb bodys given to me that have top airbleeds. I was not to sure about this carb but after i put it on the car i would not take it off. If anyone is thinking of rebuilding there holly or going to buy a holly look into the carb first. Its cheap and its a very good carb that can be tuned realy well.MSN sold me all they could LOL MSN 6a with blaster coil and billit dis. Ford Motorsports plugs seem to work best with me, I have tryed all other brands and these seem to last well on the street and work well on the bottle.Fuel side of the car is still soso i have Carter street super mechanical fuel pump and i have a Carter universal rotary vane electric fuel pump that needs to go in the car for nitrous system i running. Right now i have 150 jets in there and i'm maxed on my fuel system so any mistake right now can be bad.I have a Cheater system in there with a 64 hole plate i upgraded it from 32 hole i had.But with 2nd fuel pump i can run 200 shot and if i want to go higher i can.I have mac 351 shorty headers into a fox with hiflow cats and flowbasterds On the ten holes i have a 28 by 10.5 ET streets The car is built to be mild in my eyes and gets driven all year round. What are the odds of the skirt falling off and into the oil pan with out killing the whole motor.Also found the oilring in there as well.How u like the cheapo elc fan kit and big rad i have stuffed in there.Both fans are on switchs and i can use one or both as i need it.My motor never gets over 190 on the hotest day stuck in trafic with both on.Most the time use just one and works fine.
