How long do you think it will take Ford to to revive the Cougar .

Let's hope not before 2008. Then I can get historic or street rod tags on my car being 20 years and a discontinued model so I don't have to deal with emissions anymore. 2009 would be cool.
That would really work well anyway because Dodge is supposed to bring back the Challenger and the Cougar would be something new that would directly compete with it. By then the Mustang will be very old news and Dodge would storm the market unless it has a "new" competitor.

If the Cougar comes back in 2008 it could be a 40th Anniversary...

This topic seems to creep up quite a bit, so do a search and there is some interesting posts here (and at www.cougarnuts.com) with lots of comments about the Mustang platform, the Messanger concept car, etc.

While I'm hopeful, I'm also a realist so I don't see it happening.
