buttstuffog Clusters - Please Confirm

As some of you already know, I currently have a 88 Sport and I have a 87 TC on the way here. Thunder Chicken already suggested that I put to the 200km/h cluster from the Sport in place of the 85 MPH cluster in the TC.

My question is, can I take the speedo part of the Sport cluster and replace the speedo part in the TC cluster and leave the rest of the TC cluster as it is?

That way I won't have to fool around with recalibrating the tach and I get to keep the boost gauge and firm ride light.

I can't see why it couldn't be done, since you could buy the FMS speedo at one time, but I'd like it confirmed by the people who know before I attempt it. I'd also like to know if I'm going to run into any problems.

all it is is swapping the speedometers
