Side-Exit possibilities...

What  y'all think of these lers:

Right now I have the Summit 2-tube lers on the car.  Some of you, who were at CJ heard it.  That sound was cool a while back but it's getting kinda old now.  Plus, I dunno how much I'll get charged to install custom-bent tailpipes (currently don't have any, that's part of why it's so loud) and I dunno that a shop will even do it being that my car has no covnertors on it.  So I was thinking of these lers, at least for now, so that I could easily run side-exit exhaust.  Anyone know if these will work or fit easily on a fox car?

Are those Super Turbos or Ultraflo's? I put Super Turbos on mine and now regret it every day  . I wish I had gotten the Ultraflos because I don't get the deep throaty sound I wanted with the turbo's.
Just food for thought I guess.

They're Super Turbo's... they supposedly flow really well without too much noise.  I dunno whether I wanna keep this noise around or not, it can get pretty irritating.  I'll check the prices on Ultraflo's, but these are $50 a piece, and this is for turbo s!  I think Summit has this version of thier turbos for a lot less.

Eric, as I recall the body is 14" long.  My concern was with whether I'd have to hang them down really low in order for the clearance of the forward-firing outlet side.  Knowhamean?

They shouldn't have to hang down at all. There's actually plenty of room to move lers forward, and allow for a 90 degree side exit. That's how the convertible is done. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Hmmm... now I can't decide whether to keep the ones I have and get tails made (I know a guy who got exhaust done on a 77 T-bird and "did away" with the cats at a shop in Y-town).  Next time I see him I'll ask how thier rates are, etc.  Unless you know of a place that will work on my off-road system, Eric?

I am running spintech ers. They sound great too. Check out the web site they have video clips. If I remember the cost is about 109$ each but well worth it. Only problem now is makeing some sub-frame connecters that work around my exhaust pipes. Not a big deal though.
