87 Ls in Michigan August 01, 2005, 10:26:07 AM Well, since I don't have the money to get a v8, new exhaust, and suspension upgrades to make my cougar as fast as I would like it, looks like I have to put it up for sale. Posting it here first to see if I can find someone who will still take care of it.I know im gunna regret this since I really do love this car. But I got a really good deal on another car and I cant keep em both.Weve put almost $1000 into it after we got it. We got a new Harmonic Balancer, Had lots of transmision work done, a new oil pan, and fixed the brake lights. The car is grey, and has some rust under the doors and wheelwells, and under the side molding. The cat has:-Power Doors-Power Windows-Power Drivers Seat-Power Mirrors-Am/Fm stereo-Base Digital DashThe bad stuff:-It was in an acident before I got it.-All of the parts destroyed (radiator, pass side pannel, and frontbumper) were replaced from an 88 cat, but the guy spray paintedthem so they need a paint job.-The speedo lights on the dash wont light up, probly blown lights.-The ac barely gets cold, probly just needs a charge.-The Cruise Control isnt working.I feel like im forgetting a ton of stuff everywhere, but I'm really tired after staying up deciding what I want to do. So ill fix this later if i see anything.Im located in Michigan, the gauges read about 129k but the 3.8l engine is still running strong. So shes up for offers, no reasonable offer will be refused. I thank everyone here for all the help they have given me. Quote Selected

Re: 87 Ls in Michigan Reply #2 – August 03, 2005, 05:51:50 PM Just south of Detroit ("Down River") in MI and the Interior is in pretty good shape, cracks in the plastic above both doors, rip in drivers visor, and hole in top over passenger seat. In my 1st post I think I said the power mirrors were'nt working, I fixed those and they work fine now. Quote Selected
